Pass hike over the Sefinenfurgge (2,612 m) from the upper Kiental into the Lauterbrunnen valley: from Griesalp via Bürgli and Dürrebüel to the pass, down to the Rotstock hut and via Spilboden and Gimmelen to Mürren. In the opposite direction it is stage 12 of the Via Alpina.

On the Kiental side wire ropes and ladder-like stairs lead steeply up to the pass. A demanding mountain hike for sure-footed walkers with a head for heights.
